The John Payne Society was founded in 1905 to promote the works of the poet and translator, John Payne. John died in 1916, so the new purpose of the Society is to place all of his works online.

23rd August 2012. To mark John Payne’s 170th birthday, the first work to be published online is Thomas Wright’s Life of John Payne.
