The Life of John Payne

This book was written by Thomas Wright, the founder of The John Payne Society, and published in 1919 by T. Fisher Unwin Ltd. Wright died in 1936 so, under the UK’s “life plus 70” copyright rules, this book has been in the public domain from 2007.

In an effort to prepare this book for online publication in time for Payne’s 170th birthday, the photographs from the original have been omitted, but they will be restored in a later update.
